Direct from Milan's Desing Week 2013 where it caused a sensation, Cykno , the perfect combination of engineering and industrial design.This is a purely Italian project inspired by the needs of current transfer, provided safe keeping the environmental impact of electric vehicles generate.
Cykno was developed by the dynamic duo of the engineer, Bruno Greppi and designer Luca Scopel who gave life to a product of technological innovation, impeccable image and design inspired by the famous vintage.
Weighing only 26 kilos, the Cykno Bicycle is a most impressive viable solution to cope with everyday situations such as the need for plates, fuel consumption, gas issued, stagnation by traffic, and is that the user can decide whether pedaling or not, it does not always have the physical strength to get going.
With only need four hours of charging electric current, you could go up to 60 miles on your bike electronics.
About the creators, Greppi (1960, Italy) from the 90's has been dedicated to the motorcycle industry and in 2007 founded his company srl Evo which produces organic electronic vehicles for urban use.
Scopel currently lives in Milan focused on developing products and technology for sustainable use of transport concepts. Also, dedicated to designing from furniture, accessories and other items for interior decoration.
