Obsessed with time and the cosmos, Julien works often consist of collage and juxtaposition of images that reflect a social and media discourse on the experience of the collective imagination of the technology, consumerism and the astral. With these rural dwellers galactic or metaphysical spaces, Julien achieves this surreal encounter between vintage and futuristic geometric resources by which predominate triangles, circles and cubes, giving a subtle harmony of the composition.
